Take a detailed tour of Avalaunch,
and see why YOU should switch...
  Welcome to TeamAvalaunch.com
Avalaunch is a dashboard replacement for the XBOX game console. It provides new functionality to the XBOX such as a "skinnable" interface that lets you control how your XBOX looks and download new skins from online websites, the ability to download saved games from xbox-saves.com, and access to the XLink KAI (*free*) gaming network through an integrated interface to name just a few. If you are still curious as to what exactly Avalaunch will do for you, and want a better feeling of it in action... then look no further than our Avalaunch Guided Tour! This will show you some good examples of what it can do, and what it looks like. Remember though, you can get a LOT more skins for it over at www.allxboxskins.com, or you can create your own :)

We got our domain back. Noice.

xboxversions.com
Sep 7, 2006

Just a quick update to let everyone know about a new website we now offer for your use: www.xboxversions.com.

This is nothing new and unique by any means, however it does provide the scene with an easy to remember URL and direct access to an xbox1 and xbox 360 version checker.

And for those of you on the go, at a store or a friends house, you can now check it from your web enabled PDA by using mobile.xboxversions.com.

Homebrew code on xbox360

We at Team Avalaunch would just like to take a moment to congratulate the individual(s?) who were able to take the screenshots that many of us have now seen over on X/S. We are proud of the voracity that xbox modders have shown, and even prouder that they would choose Avalaunch as a test bed. We look forward to the future and the many new applications that will follow.

xbox 360 iso support is already here
Dec 15, 2005

Ok, before everyone gets carried away with all of the recent Xbox 360 news I wanted to let you know what we've found. There's been a lot of hype about Xbox 360 disc images and some new tools appearing to extract those images. Existing Xbox tools should already be able to extract them. Qwix 1.01 (the most recent public release version) can extract them if you just change the file extension to .iso instead. I'm not sure if other existing Xbox tools will work, but I suspect most/all of them will.

I'm trying to help avoid seeing a whole new batch of 360 iso tools, when they're really doing the same thing as all the old Xbox tools. The scene saw a lot of iso extraction/creation software surface, and some of them were quite buggy and caused people to waste a lot of time (and blank discs). There's nothing new/magical about the Xbox 360 images.

As far as Qwix is concerned - yes, Qwix 2.0 is in the works. It has been for quite a while. Real life caught up with me and changed my priorities. It has some great enhancements that should make existing Qwix users happy. I don't know exactly when I'll get to release it, but it should be in the not-too-distant future.

Happy holidays from Devenic and Team Avalaunch!
